Here to listen,
here to serve.
Pleasanton's schools are already among the best in California. My goal is to protect what works, improve what doesn't, and make sure our schools are prepared for the future.
Parents, teachers, students, and community members care deeply about our schools, but they do not always have the time to follow every board meeting, budget decision, or district policy change.
My mission is to bring more transparency, accountability, and community involvement to the Pleasanton Unified School District. I believe parents should be treated as partners in their children's education, teachers should have the support they need to succeed, and every decision should ultimately be focused on what is best for students.
I am Brett Martinez, and I am running for the Pleasanton Unified School District Board of Trustees, Area 5. My priorities are academic excellence, fiscal responsibility, safe and supportive schools, and preparing every student for college, a skilled career, entrepreneurship, or whatever path they choose.
I want to hear directly from the people our schools serve.
What is your vision for Pleasanton schools? What is working well? What needs to change? What opportunities should we be giving our students that we are not providing today?
Tell me. I'm listening.
